Things to know before you use our service:

The difference between Hypnosis and Hypnotherapy:

Please note, what we do is “Hypnotherapy”, as opposed to "simple Hypnosis” (we in fact do both, each session). In hypnosis, we give you “suggestions” which are then followed by the subconscious; for instance, if we were to tell you, “You will stop eating chocolate, and instead, will have a great desire to drink a glass of water every time you get the urge to eat chocolate,” your unconscious would tend to follow those directions.

However, we here at SEE Hypnosis are going to go much deeper, and resolve the emotional reason the unconscious has for eating chocolate in the first place. This process takes at least 4 sessions. This is a thorough process (Five 2-hour sessions, and homework everyday) … but it is worth it, if you really want to change.

After each session, there is a debrief.

We do debriefs every session, twice. Once before we end the hypnosis, where we go over each of the issues addressed, and the second time, immediately after the session.

What happens sometimes is that a LOT of issues come up, and you have to process them. That takes time. The hypnotherapist can summarize each of these issues, and answer questions, but if the client does not have any (which is usual, as they feel like they have tried to drink out of a fire-hose), they leave and try to go about their day … only to have questions pop up.

That is normal and should be expected!

Each person will experience something different in each session.

What we do is guide you to you. You are the world’s expert on you! But after a session, if you are overwhelmed and perhaps even stunned by what you learned, you may not be able to come up with a question. You have to process everything before you can.

It Takes Time to process!

When the questions come, we are here. You just simply email us, and we will help as much as we can. Or you can write down the questions, and ask at your next session.

Emailing us with questions is part of your Hypnotherapy! If you have a question, ask it! You are not bothering us, it’s part of your package! We want you to contact us with all of your questions!!!

So, write them down, so you don’t forget them and then ask us!

The difference between a hypnotherapist and a therapist or counselor:

Hypnotherapists cannot diagnose mental disorders.

In addition, we are experts on guiding the client to themselves. We do not have checklists for what is healthy or unhealthy as therapists do.

What we do is guide a client to find their own insights about themselves; but we cannot know what is important to you. Discovering yourself is ultimately up to you. We can lead you to what your Unconscious feels it wants to work on. Don’t worry, most of the time it will be very clear to you why your unconscious led you to this issue.

Imagine you are a famous archaeologist looking for an ancient temple. You hire a local to guide you to the temple’s location, but it’s up to you to figure out what all the symbols mean. The guide got you there safely. It’s up to you to figure out the hidden secrets!

Sometimes the hypnotherapist will try to summarize or point out potential insights, but these are only educated guesses, which is why we will always ask, “Does this sound right to you?” It is very important that you say “No,” if you do not in fact feel our idea holds merit. It won't hurt our feelings, as we are there to help you find the truth for yourself!
